The Carroll Fire Department responded to a smoke alarm activation last night at McFarland Clinic. At approximately 8:44 p.m. Wednesday, the clinic located at 1214 South Grant Road had a significant amount of smoke in a lower level break-room as a result of overcooked food in an unattended microwave. Firefighters cleared the smoke and were on the scene for approximately 30 minutes. No damage or injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
