The City of Carroll has announced that Tri-State Paving has scheduled milling for the removal of the current asphalt surface on Court Street from 4th to 7th Streets. On Thursday, Oct. 27, the large milling machinery will be present in those areas, and while it does not completely stop traffic flow, it will have an impact and parking will be prohibited in those areas. The milling is expected to be completed that same day. The repaving of the roadway is scheduled to immediate follow the milling process, and there will be no traffic allowed on the new asphalt until it cools, usually the evening of the day it is placed. Tri-State Paving personnel will assist drivers during the work period when at all practical, but everyone is encouraged to avoid the area if at all possible during the work operations.
