The South Central Calhoun Titans have an opportunity to raise up to $10,000 through a test drive event this Friday, Aug. 25. Macke Motors partnered with Buick to help raise funds for the school. Luke Anstoeter, Marketing Manager for the dealership, explains how the event will work.
Anstoeter says six to 10 Buicks will be available to test drive and each person trying out a car will result in a donation to the school. He says once they reach a certain number of test drives, the amount donated increases.
The fundraiser begins at 3 p.m. on Friday on the east side of South Central Calhoun High School and will go as late as necessary to max out the donations says Anstoeter. People wanting to help support the fundraiser must be 21-years-old, have a valid driver’s license and bring proof of insurance to participate.
