An $80,000 construction project will begin soon at Salem Lutheran Home & Rehabilitation Center in Elk Horn. The project will begin with an expansion of its dining room to allow for larger community events and allow them to refurbish the current dining room so residents may have a restaurant-like dining experience. The launch of the project is a result of increased demand for more planned activities that require more space to host both residents and members of the local area. Construction is expected to begin on June 6th. Future projects for Salem Lutheran Home & Rehabilitation, a veterans certified facility include a Rehab-to-home dining, Out-patient Therapy Expansion, Resident gift shop and horticulture area.
