Dupaco Credit Union held their 67th annual Membership Meeting on Feb. 28, and announce that Steve Chapman and Renee Poppe were re-elected to serve three-year terms on the credit union’s volunteer board of directors. Ron Meyers was elected to fill the seat previously held by Richard Burgmeier, who did not seek re-election after more than 31 years of volunteer service. Burgmeier was named an Honorary Director at the meeting. Officer and chair appointments were also made with Renee Poppe named chair; Bob Wethal, vice chair; Denise Dolan, secretary; Steve Champman, treasurer; and Joe Heam, president/ceo. As a member-owned, democratically-controlled cooperative, each member has an equal say in their credit union. Each member has one vote, no matter how much money he or she has in deposits or loans at Dupaco.
