Just passed 8 o’clock this evening reports started coming into Carroll Broadcasting that a section of Highway 30 from Grant Road to just passed the Dollar General store had been cordoned off by local authorities. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office the Carroll County Police Department the Iowa State Patrol as well as the Carroll fire department and ambulance services were all on the scene after arriving it was learned before my witnesses that this is a possible situation of an individual who had intended to harm themselves and authorities were working diligently to try to resolve the situation without any harm coming to the individual.
