The Carroll Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring and hosting a candidate forum on Wednesday, May 11, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Harold Bierl Community Room at 407 West 5th Street. Two Republican candidates are vying for the district five Carroll County Supervisors seat, and will be voicing their opinions on the issues important to Carroll County residents prior to the Primary election on Tuesday, June 7. Tony Konkler and Richard Ruggles will answer questions from the audience in attendance as well as questions called or texted in during the forum. The forum is open to the public, and anyone wishing to submit questions beforehand may do so by either mailing or delivering written questions to the Carroll Chamber of Commerce office at 407 West 5th Street, P.O. Box 307, Carroll, or by emailing chamber@carrolliowa.com. During the forum, questions can be called or texted to 712-790-3584 beginning at 7 p.m.
