A road closure in Sac County might affect drivers who use old Highway 20 on a regular basis. The county will be closing the intersection of Highway 196/Union Avenue where the road intersects with D-36 beginning Monday, October 12. The intersection could be closed for up to 4 weeks while the roadway is graded and paved. Motorists are asked to take an alternative route or follow the posted detour signs which will take drivers along M-54 to Hwy 20, then from Hwy 20 to N-28, and then back to D-36.
