Residents in Manning will continue to celebrate with a long running annual tradition following the Thanksgiving holiday. Weihnachsfest will take place this Friday, November 27, along Main Street in Manning. Organizer Heather Eischeid says there will be a lot of fun activities going on in the downtown area that evening.
Many businesses will be open, some with special sales, and visitors can also register to win one of twelve $100 Manning Chamber gift certificates. Eischeid says the feature event, a lighted parade, begins at 6:00 pm.
Holiday events will continue throughout the weekend which include various lighted displays located throughout town and in the nearby countryside. For more information about Weihnachsfest contact the Manning City Office at 712-655-2176.
