King Calls For Prosecution Of Clinton Over Security Breaches

Carroll, Iowa — Two of the emails found on the private server of Hillary Clinton have drawn increased scrutiny from the FBI and the probe has revealed there was intelligence from at least three different agencies. In a single email, there was confidential information from the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency and the National Geospatial-intelligence Agency. Representative Steve King says there have been cases in recent history that give precedence to what is happening now.

He said there was a similar situation with General David Petraeus whose girlfriend was cleared for classified information. The relationship, however, resulted in charges being brought against the General for information that crossed between the two. This ruined the career of one of the most impressive military people King said he had ever met. He added that this history of prosecution in similar situations should lead to the same treatment for Clinton’s security breaches.

Even though no formal charges are foreseen in the very near future, King says the impact of the negative press is evident in the polls. Clinton is seeing declining numbers across the country and across Iowa as she tries to regain ground from reports that she is not considered honest or trustworthy.

The State Department continues to investigate the emails and is currently seeking a second opinion on the classification of some of those coming under close scrutiny.
