This past Thursday, top Iowa Republicans formally announced they are joining New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s leadership team in Iowa. This team consists of influential business and community leaders from across the state and will be instrumental in communicating Christie’s bold ideas to Iowans. State Chairman and Speaker of the Iowa House of Representatives, Kraig Paulsen endorsed the 2016 presidential candidate, saying his kind of political courage and leadership are needed in Washington. Adrianne Branstad, the Polk County GOP leader has also joined the executive leadership team, believing that Christie’s strong conservative record, substantive plans for the future of our nation and his honest and direct style are exactly what our country needs. Other notable Iowa leaders, such as former Senate Majority Leader Stewart Iverson and Wild Rose Casino and Resort Chairman, Gary Kirke, join over 30 others in voicing their support for Christie in 2016.
