Fiorina Says Change Requires Elimination Of The Political Class

Among the half dozen presidential candidates touring Iowa over the weekend, Republican hopeful, Carly Fiorina, made Carroll a priority stopping point on her campaign trail. She introduced herself to the standing room only crowd at Santa Maria Winery Friday that included supporters from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Kansas who made the trip to hear the position and ideas of a woman who is not a professional politician.

After a simple introduction, Fiorina said she was there to answer their questions, and she immediately opened the floor. One of the first questions was what she would do about the $18 trillion national deficit if elected.

She said one of the biggest problems are bureaucracies. She used the EPA and the FCC as examples of government entities that have rolled out thousands of pages of regulations that depress the economy. She added, that if you have a personal budget and are overspending you must look at that spending and prioritize. The government should too.

And with Fiorina currently climbing in local and national polls, one attendee wanted to know why the media was working to basically block her from participating in the next G-O-P debate.

Fiorina, however, said even though the media can’t seem to count to 17 and work out a way to include all the candidates, she will keep fighting to have her voice and her stance heard.

We will bring you more in later broadcasts on Fiorina’s answers to questions on the Affordable Care Act, Renewable fuels, tuition, term limits and much more.
