The Manning Fire Department will receive the grant they had applied for through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Mary Bruner of Carroll announced Wednesday morning that she will seek the democratic nomination for the District 26 Seat on the Iowa Senate currently held by Republican Steve Kettering who announced late last year that he would not seek re-election.
