There will be a Co-Ed 14″ Slowpitch Tournament Fundraiser for Randy Thompson & his family, on Sunday, August 28th, at 11am at the Slowpitch Fields in Carroll. A Windstar Lines driver, Randy Thompson, was in a life threatening accident on May 13th. Since then, he has had numerous surgeries & is now in a Rehabilitation Center in Ankeny. All proceeds of the tournament will be given to the family for travel expenses, motel stays, or meals that insurance will not cover. Deadline to register a team will be Aug. 24th.
