Topless woman stopped on bike while on trail system

Jefferson, Iowa -- Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call last Sunday about a woman riding her bicycle topless on the Raccoon River Valley Rrail. The woman was heading north on the trail when she was noticed south of the town of Cooper. Deputies spotted the woman between Cooper and Jefferson and were able to stop her around Winkleman Switch. The unidentified woman in a news release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office was riding from West Des Moines and told officers she thought it was hot and took off her top to cool down. Officers told her to put a top on and she pulled a small top out and put it on. No charges were filled in the incident.
