Manning, Iowa -- Harlee Flynn is recovering at home after falling nearly 20 feet from the top of the bleachers during a basketball tournament Saturday. Flynn was attending a tournament with her parents in Manning while her brother played for a team from Creston when she fell from the top of the bleachers to the court below. The bleachers in the gym at Manning were pushed in since the tournament plays two games at once going side by side. School officials with IKM/Manning say they will change how the tournament is played and added gates to stop people from sitting on the top the bleachers. Signs were posted throughout the gym warning people not to sit on the bleachers and people who did sit there needed to crawl over railing to reach the top of the bleachers. Flynn was air lifted to Des Moines after being knocked unconscious and will continue to wear a neck brace until she sees a specialist in a couple weeks.
